Senzo Mall is a large shopping centre in Hurghada, on the Safaga road near Alf Leila wa Leila square, south of the centre. Open every day from 10am to 11:30pm, it brings together women's and men's clothes shops, footwear, electronics and accessories, a supermarket and a food court. It is the air-conditioned address of choice in the hot hours, and an evening outing for local families. The mall is a good complement to the marina and Sheraton Road for practical purchases: sun cream, clothes, electronics, groceries. According to some guides it also has a cinema and a children's play area; confirm before making the trip.

The lit-up facade

In the evening, the building with its two small towers and the illuminated sign stand out against the large paved square where families meet. The atmosphere is that of a neighbourhood mall, calmer than the marina.

The mall is away from Sheraton Road: take a return taxi, agreeing the price in advance, or ask your hotel. With fixed prices, it is a good place to buy essentials without haggling.
