Location and getting there

Rooms, beach and pools
Listings describe a beachfront hotel with three outdoor pools, a spa, and meals and drinks included at the hotel's restaurants and bars. The number of rooms is not given consistently, so ask the hotel. We found no confirmation of a house reef; the closest reef named by one listing is Elphinstone, about 26 km away. Do not book this hotel expecting to snorkel straight from the beach without checking first.
What guests write
We did not read a reliable score with its number of reviews on 29 October 2026, and we will not invent one. On the Booking page, look at the score, the review count and recent comments about renovation, because the hotel has changed name and operator.
Who it suits, who it does not
Suited to
- Travellers who want all-inclusive with pools and a spa, a short distance from the airport.
- Families who like a short transfer after the flight.
Less suited to
- Divers who want a reef in front of the hotel: nothing confirms it.
- Travellers who want a hotel with a stable name: check that the Booking listing really is Casa Mare.
Booking tips
- Book through the hotel's Booking page ("Casa Mare Resort, Marsa Alam") and compare the price for your dates; we quote no price that would go stale.
- A trip to add: snorkelling with turtles and sea cows at Marsa Mubarak.
- Ask the hotel whether the reef can be reached from the beach and what the board covers.
